Name it
Tell God the truth about what you are carrying and what you have been trying to control.
Whatever brought you here, shame, fear, addiction, pressure, control, regret, or spiritual exhaustion, surrender begins with honesty.
Surrender is not giving up on life. It is giving up the illusion that you were meant to rule it alone. It is trusting that the One who gave His life for you can be trusted with every part of yours.
It does not erase your story. It changes who has authority over it. Your past may explain some things, but in Christ it does not own your identity or determine your future.
Tell God the truth about what you are carrying and what you have been trying to control.
Ask Jesus to take His rightful place over your past, your plans, your relationships, and your future.
Choose the next faithful act of obedience. Surrender becomes real in the next decision.
Jesus, I have tried to carry what I was never meant to carry alone. I surrender my past, my control, my identity, and my future to You. Forgive me, lead me, and teach me to follow You today. My life is Yours. Amen.
